Online Fashion Jewelry Sales Manager

We are a retail jewelry store with the need for a motivated, high-energy individual to work as part of our sales force.  We are presently seeking a person with E-commerce experience who is capable of working with the public in the sales and marketing of fashion jewelry.  Direct contact with the consumer through the Internet, telephone, e-mail, and occasionally in person.  We are seeking an individual who is capable of working as part of a cooperative team, with the ability to function in an independent manner.

 
As our internet commerce manager, you will be required the management of our internet sales operation, which has already been established as a quality, high volume location. Some knowledge of a fashion jewelry business in preferred. Ability to work effectively and comfortably with consumers is a must.  The successful applicant will be working directly with the VP of operation, and he/she will have the primary responsibility for advancing the success of our internet sales operation.
 
Experience:
 
Background in the fashion jewelry business; Experience in internet sales; Sound written and verbal communication skills; Proven sales ability to market fashion jewelry; Ability to work independently within a small sales department; Ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative.

Director of Sales for Mass Retailer/Discount/Specialty stores

Summary: Sales person for assigned retail key accounts. The sales person will travel to the accounts for sales calls as well working from the New York office. (Preferred)

Essential Duties Includes:

  • Primary responsibility of working with existing Key Accounts
  • Responsible for sales, forecasting and margins for his/her accounts
  • Preparation, proposals and follow up for all sales calls
  • Responsible for coordination of product lines for appointments
  • Customer Liaison with goal of building & maintaining relationships with customers
  • Prospect for new accounts & new business as assigned
  • Suggest new product assortments

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor Degree required; 5 years of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and sales experience preferred.  Jewelry or Accessories category would be preferred.
